PriceDash ("we", "us" or "our") operates the website www.pricedash.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you visit our website. 1. Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use PriceDash. However, we may collect certain information automatically when you visit our website:

Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, links clicked, referring URLs, browser type, device type and operating system.
IP address: Your IP address is collected by our analytics and hosting providers to help understand general geographic trends and to maintain security.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

3. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Retailers

PriceDash earns commission when you make a purchase through our affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link, you will be redirected to the retailer's website. At that point, the retailer's own privacy policy applies to any information you provide to them. We do not have access to the personal data you share with retailers.

PriceDash sets no affiliate cookies. After you follow one of our links, the affiliate network and the retailer may set cookies on their own websites to record that a purchase came from PriceDash. Those cookies are theirs, and their own policies cover them. They do not allow us to identify you.

4. Analytics

We use Google Analytics (loaded through Google Tag Manager) only to count visits and see how the website is used, so we can improve it. Google processes this data for us under its data processing terms, and may process it outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. We have turned off sharing it with Google for any other purpose, and we do not use it for advertising or to identify you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website.

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, analytics used only for this purpose does not need your consent. You can turn Google Analytics off at any time on our Cookie Policy page.

5. AI Assistants and the PriceDash MCP Server

PriceDash operates a free MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at mcp.pricedash.com that lets AI assistants such as Claude look up voucher codes on your behalf. See our AI assistants page for details. The MCP server:

Requires no account and collects no personal information from you or your AI assistant.
Stores no user data. The only information it receives is the search query sent by your assistant (for example a retailer name or product category), which is processed transiently to return matching offers and is not linked to you or retained.
Never sees your conversations. The content of your AI conversations is not sent to us beyond the search query itself.
Keeps standard server logs only. Our hosting provider (Vercel) retains short-lived request logs (including IP address and request metadata) used solely for security, rate limiting and troubleshooting.

Offer links returned by the MCP server are the same affiliate links described in section 3 and work in the same way.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share anonymised, aggregated data with our service providers (such as hosting and analytics providers) solely for the purposes described in this policy.

7. Data Retention

Google Analytics keeps visit records for 2 months; our reports from it are totals. Cookies last for the durations set out in our Cookie Policy.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
Request deletion of your personal data.
Object to or restrict the processing of your personal data.
Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
