How the calculator works: an example

Example: you're buying a year of Esquire (6 issues) for £39.99, and you have a 10% off code. If a 40% sale is on and the code also works on sale items, the sale takes off £16.00 and the code a further £2.40, so the basket drops to £21.59: a saving of £18.40. Press “Fill in the example” to see it worked out, or put in your own basket, sale and code. Whether a code works on sale items depends on its terms.

How to subscribe to Esquire

  1. Pick an offer above: each names its store, and its button opens that store's Esquire page. At Hearst Magazines, say whether you're buying for yourself or as a gift, then choose Print + Digital (6 issues for £39.99) or Digital (6 issues for £9.99).
  2. The price shows without a code. iSubscribe sells the same year for £39.99 by Direct Debit, which it says has a 12-month minimum term, or by card, PayPal or gift card; it says a discount code can't be used on a Direct Debit subscription.
  3. Pay: Hearst takes card, PayPal or Apple Pay. You can choose when the first print issue arrives at Hearst's checkout; it says the first issue generally arrives in 2 to 7 weeks, and the digital edition is ready at once in the Esquire app.
  4. Hearst subscriptions renew each year at the same price. To stop one, cancel in your account or call 01858 438838 at least 28 days before the end of the term. Pocket Mags renewals are cancelled in My Account up to 24 hours before the term ends.
