How the calculator works: an example

Example: you're buying a subscription to Homes & Gardens magazine at Magazines Direct for £6.00, and you have a 10% off code. If a 40% sale is on and the code also works on sale items, the sale takes off £2.40 and the code a further £0.36, so the basket drops to £3.24: a saving of £2.76. Press “Fill in the example” to see it worked out, or put in your own basket, sale and code. Whether a code works on sale items depends on its terms.

How to use a Magazines Direct offer

Open the magazine's page on magazinesdirect.com and choose Print, Digital or (where offered) Print + Digital.
Pick an option: a trial offer, an annual or a two-year subscription. The page shows the shop price, the saving and the total to pay today, so trial and saving prices need no code. Tick "This order will be a gift" if it is a present.
Add it to your basket, where you can choose the issue it starts with, then enter the delivery address at checkout. The delivery country must match the region chosen at the top of the page.
