She had heard rumours of an upcoming 40% clearance sale at Europcar and wanted to check the savings she could make on the off chance that they would accept the voucher code on an already discounted product. Isabella used our calculator and discovered that by applying both the sale discount AND the voucher together, her basket would drop to just £45.90 - a massive saving of £39.10! The calculator showed her exactly how each discount stacked up and she decided to wait for the sale and see if her dreams would come true! After many good experiences, Isabella has trusted PriceDash for many years as her source of validated codes and often visits us when she needs to order from Europcar.

Top tip: sign up for emails so you catch Europcar promo codes before they expire. Using a valid Europcar discount code can take 10% off a midweek rental, leaving you with more cash for activities. Don’t forget voucher codes sometimes only apply to specific countries or vehicle groups, so always check the terms.
Plenty of shoppers find applying Europcar voucher codes at checkout is quick and rewarding. A small saving on a week-long hire can mean an extra night out or a fuel top-up - which feels great. With seasonal codes popping up for spring breaks and summer trips, keep an eye on mobile offers too.
There are often Europcar offers on airport pick-ups and one-way hires that make travel less stressful. Flash sales and autumn deals can shave money off city breaks, giving you more to spend on experiences. Cutting 15% off a family hire can make a long weekend much more affordable.
Many users spot great Europcar deals on electric car hires and long-term rentals. Promo periods for students and graduates usually appear around exam and graduation seasons, which helps stretch budgets. With careful timing you can combine an offer with app-only discounts for extra value.
For van hire or small car categories, there are often targeted discounts that suit moving days or budget road trips. Applying Europcar promo codes to specific categories like SUVs or vans can reduce the total cost and make planning easier. Taking a percentage off delivery or collection services means less stress and more savings for essentials.
Many drivers enjoy savings on airport car hire and long-term rentals through targeted voucher codes. Student and graduate discounts also apply to certain vehicle categories, which makes larger trips cheaper. Don’t forget to compare economy and premium categories to find the best price for your needs.
Seasonal events such as bank-holiday weekends and autumn breaks often trigger special Europcar offers. Booking a little earlier during these events can secure lower rates and flexible cancellation options, which reduces travel anxiety. Cutting even a small percentage off peak-time bookings leaves more for food and days out.
Beyond seasonal events, quick booking guides help you apply Europcar discount codes at checkout without fuss. Try the app for exclusive mobile-only deals and faster check-in to save time at busy airports. Top tip: use the ‘Get a quote’ tool to compare rates before applying voucher codes.
Privilege members regularly get extra savings and faster pick-up, so joining can pay off if you hire often. Loyalty perks sometimes include 10% off public rates and special Privilege deals that stack with other offers. Cutting those recurring costs means more trips or nicer cars for the same budget.
Many business customers see consistent value from corporate accounts and Privilege upgrades. Rewards can translate into FREE weekend rentals and priority service, which saves time and hassle. Don’t forget to check member-only emails for exclusive Europcar promo codes and partner discounts.
Extras like additional drivers, child seats or insurance add-ons - small savings add up to big travel comfort gains. Europcar deals sometimes include FREE delivery or reduced fees for extra services, putting more money back in your pocket. Cutting optional fees can turn a good trip into a worry-free one.
Many renters appreciate eco options such as electric car hire and sustainability initiatives that occasionally come with discounts. Booking extras via the app or online often unlocks cheaper rates and clearer terms. Top tip: check delivery and collection availability for your route to avoid costly airport surcharges.

Europcar charges £16.66 per day to authorise each additional driver, up to a maximum of £166.60 per rental. That fee includes the Basic Protection package for the authorised driver and is added on top of the base rental rate - it will appear on your rental invoice. Make sure any extra drivers meet Europcar’s licence and age requirements at pick-up.
If you or any driver is under 26, Europcar applies a mandatory young driver surcharge of £46.41 per day when Basic Protection or excess reduction products apply. This daily charge is added to the rental rate and any extras, and it runs for the whole hire period - you’ll see it on the rental agreement. Top tip: check licence eligibility and any local restrictions before you book.
When Europcar needs to validate a driving licence with the DVLA, there’s a DVLA contact charge of £4.75 per incident. This is charged in addition to the rental and any extras, and shows on the invoice for that rental. To avoid delays, present the correct licence documentation at pick-up.
A child seat costs £15.47 per day to rent, capped at £154.70 for the rental period. If the child seat is lost, stolen or damaged during the hire, Europcar will charge £84 to replace it. You can request child seats when booking or add them at the branch if needed. This charge is separate from the vehicle rental and any protective products.
Booster cushions are £15.47 per day, with a maximum charge of £154.70 for the full rental. If a booster cushion is lost, stolen or damaged, a replacement fee of £84 applies. This is an extra equipment charge and isn’t included in the base rental price - you can add it during booking or at the rental counter if available.
Europcar charges £17.84 per day for a satellite navigation unit, up to a maximum of £178.40 per rental. If the unit is lost, stolen or damaged, a replacement fee of £84 will apply. Satnav rental is optional and can be added when booking online or at the station, subject to availability. This charge is additional to the vehicle hire and any protection products.
Europcar lets you make FREE and unlimited modifications via the Manage My Booking section, subject to operational availability. You can change bookings at any time, but changes made close to pick-up might incur charges if they affect the booking value or availability. Check the booking terms and the local Tariff Guide for details on any specific change-related fees. Free modifications don’t remove the need to meet licence, payment and identification requirements at pick-up.
Cancellations are FREE up to 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. If you cancel less than 48 hours before pick-up, a fee of GBP 54 (or the local currency equivalent) applies, or the full rental price if that is lower. This cancellation fee applies to reservations made through Europcar’s reservation system and will be charged to the payment method you supplied. If you booked through a third-party partner, cancel via that partner - their terms may differ. The cancellation fee is charged per reservation and will appear on the final invoice where relevant.
If you don’t show up and haven’t cancelled, Europcar may apply a no-show penalty as set out in the Recommended Tariff Guide, which could mean the total reservation amount is withheld. The no-show charge will be billed to the payment method on file and remains due even if no payment method exists at the time. For hires outside the UK, check the local Terms and Conditions or Tariff Guide for specific no-show penalties. Cancelling in advance avoids the no-show charge.
Europcar offers optional roadside assistance products with daily rates that vary by length of hire. Roadside Assistance Plus can be charged up to £8.33 per day, while Roadside Assistance Express can be up to £13.09 per day. These add-ons aren’t included in the daily rental charge unless a specific rate states otherwise. They cover issues like lockouts or, with the Express product, delivery of a replacement vehicle. Charges are per day and will be itemised on the rental agreement if you take them.
Yes - you can add extra services at the rental counter provided they aren’t already included in your booked package. Availability at the branch depends on stock and local offerings, so some items can’t be guaranteed. Any extras added at pick-up will be charged according to the Tariff Guide and included on the rental invoice. If you need specific equipment, request it when booking to improve your chances of getting it.
Third Party Liability cover for bodily injury and property damage - as required by law in the country of rental - is included in the quoted rate. If you want to reduce or remove the excess, additional or extended protection options can be bought online when booking or at pick-up. Details of excess waivers and protection options are shown on Europcar’s Excess Waivers and protection pages. The statutory third-party cover doesn’t stop you from buying extra cover for more peace of mind during the hire.
Choosing a prepaid rate on europcar.co.uk means the full estimated rental amount is charged at booking and the card used must match the main driver at pick-up. Prepaid bookings are debited immediately and usually follow specific prepaid or Pay Online rate conditions. Alternatively, you can choose Pay on Arrival, where payment is taken at the station and an authorisation deposit is required at pick-up. The Online Booking Terms and Conditions explain the responsibilities for prepaid versus pay-at-station bookings.
Europcar’s Deliver & Collect service for cars and vans starts from £25 each way, depending on location and availability. You must book the service at the time of reservation and it’s subject to local terms and operating hours. Delivery and collection can be a convenient alternative to travelling to the branch and will be confirmed in advance. The Deliver & Collect fee is additional to the vehicle hire and any extras or protection products.
Europcar accepts most major credit and debit cards, including American Express, Diners Club, Mastercard and Visa, though acceptance may vary by country and branch. For non-prepaid bookings, an authorisation deposit is required at pick-up and the rental cost is normally charged at the end of the rental period. Prepaid bookings are charged at reservation time and require the booking cardholder to present the same card at pick-up. Cash isn’t generally accepted for the rental, although some stations may accept cash for the deposit with prior confirmation.
