How the calculator works: an example

Example: you're booking a return Heathrow Express ticket direct with Heathrow Express for £42.00, and you have a 10% off code. If a 20% travel sale is on and the code also works on sale bookings, the sale takes off £8.40 and the code a further £3.36, so the booking drops to £30.24: a saving of £11.76. Press “Fill in the example” to see it worked out, or put in your own booking, sale and code. Whether a code works on sale bookings depends on its terms.

How to use a Heathrow Express promo code

  1. On heathrowexpress.com, choose your journey, date, passengers and any Railcard, then pick Standard Class or PREMIER+.
  2. Before you pay, add the promo code with your booking's extras, where Heathrow Express also asks for a Heathrow Rewards number.
  3. Promo codes work on full-fare tickets only: not on £10 Advance Discounted Singles, and not with a Railcard or another offer.
  4. Railcard discounts need no code: add the Railcard when you choose your tickets and carry it when you travel. The 10% first-purchase discount works only in the Heathrow Express app.
