How the calculator works: an example

Example: you're buying a wool blend overcoat at Burton for £99.00, and you have a 10% off code. If a 40% sale is on and the code also works on sale items, the sale takes off £39.60 and the code a further £5.94, so the basket drops to £53.46: a saving of £45.54. Add the £2.99 delivery charge for the full price. Press “Fill in the example” to see it worked out, or put in your own basket, sale and code. Whether a code works on sale items depends on its terms.

How to use a Burton discount code

Add your items to your bag on burton.co.uk. Where a code applies, the product and listing pages show a badge naming it, such as "Extra 22% Off Use Code SINGLESDAY".
Enter the code during the online checkout, before you pay. Only one code works per order, and it can't be combined with another promotion or offer.
Some third-party brands, concession partners and restricted categories are excluded: Burton says the product page, the offer's own terms or the checkout shows when they are.
For the student discount, verify with Student Beans through the link at the foot of Burton's pages to get your code, then enter it at checkout in the same way.
