How the calculator works: an example

Example: you're buying some Clarks pace black trainers at Clarks for £99.00, and you have a 10% off code. If a 40% sale is on and the code also works on sale items, the sale takes off £39.60 and the code a further £5.94, so the basket drops to £53.46: a saving of £45.54. Add the £4.95 delivery charge for the full price. Press “Fill in the example” to see it worked out, or put in your own basket, sale and code. Whether a code works on sale items depends on its terms.

How to use a Clarks promo code

Get your code first. Student, key worker and over-55s codes come from GoCertify once you verify on Clarks' discount pages; the £10 sign-up code shows in the pop-up when you join Clarks emails or texts, and is emailed or texted to you as well.
Add full-price items to your basket on clarks.com. Most codes don't count on reduced lines, kids' and school shoes, Originals, shoe care, gift cards or partner-brand items. The 20% partner-brand offer needs no code: it applies in the basket by itself.
Go to the checkout and enter your unique code there. The discount shows in your order total if your items qualify; codes can't be combined with another offer.
A code can't be added after you've ordered. If one is refused, check its end date and exclusions in Clarks' promotion terms.

Clarks shopping FAQs

Is there a Clarks voucher code or promo code for a first order?

Not as a first-order code: the welcome offer comes from signing up to Clarks emails or texts. The sign-up pop-up shows a unique code for £10 off a full-price order of £50 or more online, and Clarks emails or texts it to you too. School shoes, shoe care, gift cards and reduced lines are excluded, and it can't be used with another offer.

Does Clarks offer free delivery?

Yes, on orders over £75: standard delivery is then free to a UK home address, Evri collection point or locker, and otherwise costs £4.95 (4 to 5 days). Collecting from a full-price Clarks store is free on any order. On 27 Oct 2026 the site also showed a 'Free Standard Delivery - Limited Time' banner, but its delivery page still gave the £75 threshold.

Does Clarks give a Blue Light Card discount?

Is there a Clarks student discount?

Yes, two. Verifying with GoCertify on Clarks' student discount page gives a unique code for 10% off full-price items online (Originals, kids' and school shoes excluded). Through Student Beans, students get £15 off when they spend £99 on full-price Clarks Originals, with a code generated in Student Beans for online orders or its digital ID in store.

Does Clarks have a discount for over-55s?

Yes. Customers aged 55 and over get 10% off full-price items on clarks.com after verifying their age with GoCertify on Clarks' over-55s discount page; the unique code goes in at the checkout. The same exclusions as the student and key worker codes apply.

Why is my Clarks discount code not working?

Clarks' help centre says the usual reason is that the code isn't valid for the products in your basket or has expired. Most Clarks codes count only on full-price items and exclude kids' and school shoes, Originals, shoe care, gift cards and partner-brand items. A code can't be added to an order after it's placed: Clarks suggests re-ordering with the code and returning the first order.

Can I use a Clarks discount code in store?

It depends on the code's own terms, which Clarks says to check for each promotion. The GoCertify student, key worker and over-55s codes and the email sign-up code are for clarks.com, while the Student Beans offer can be used in store with the Student Beans digital ID. Clarks Outlet stores and wholesale stockists don't take most codes.
