How the calculator works: an example

Example: you're buying a bow tie for her brother at Ties Planet for £9.99, and you have a 10% off code. If a 40% sale is on and the code also works on sale items, the sale takes off £4.00 and the code a further £0.60, so the basket drops to £5.39: a saving of £4.60. Add the £3.99 delivery charge for the full price. Press “Fill in the example” to see it worked out, or put in your own basket, sale and code. Whether a code works on sale items depends on its terms.

How to use a Ties Planet discount code

  1. Add your ties and accessories to the basket on tiesplanet.com. For the 3 for £20, luxury silk 3 for £40 and Christmas Mix & Match deals, pick all three items from that deal's range: the site shows these deals with no code.
  2. Open the basket from the basket icon at the top right and check the deal price and delivery choice before you go to the checkout.
  3. If you have a code, enter it in the code box in the basket or at the checkout and check the saving shows in your total. A Ties Planet gift voucher works differently: it is added to your account as e-wallet credit and redeemed at the final stage of the checkout.
  4. If a deal or code doesn't apply, email sales@tiesplanet.com or call 0113 3459395 before you pay.
