Lindt can extend delivery times where circumstances are beyond its control and will notify you if delays are expected.
If a product is obviously damaged in transit, Lindt asks you to tell the delivery agent straight away and contact Lindt as soon as possible. Lindt says it bears the risk of transport until the product is delivered and will pursue claims against the carrier where needed. For consumer online orders, you have the legal right to cancel within fourteen days from the day you (or someone you’ve nominated) get physical possession of the goods. Lindt makes clear that consumer statutory rights aren’t affected by its terms and that you have legal rights for faulty or misdescribed products. The terms confirm Lindt will comply with obligations under the Sale of Goods Act and related consumer protection laws. Lindt limits liability where the law allows, but accepts responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence and for defective products under applicable legislation. The terms also suggest speaking to local Trading Standards or Citizens Advice for further help with consumer claims.
Lindt’s gift cards can be activated from a minimum of £10 up to a maximum of £500 and are valid for 24 months from purchase. They can only be redeemed for merchandise at Lindt stores in the UK - not online - and they can’t be exchanged for cash. Any remaining balance after a purchase will appear on your till receipt and change isn’t given. Lindt treats gift cards like cash and isn’t liable for lost, stolen or damaged cards, while reserving the right to amend the terms.
