How the calculator works: an example

Example: you're buying a trip to Port Lympne Reserve at Virgin Experience Days for £198.00, and you have a 10% off code. If a 40% sale is on and the code also works on sale items, the sale takes off £79.20 and the code a further £11.88, so the basket drops to £106.92: a saving of £91.08. Press “Fill in the example” to see it worked out, or put in your own basket, sale and code. Whether a code works on sale items depends on its terms.

How to use a Virgin Experience Days discount code

Add your experience to the basket and go to the checkout, where you choose a free e-voucher or a posted gift pack.
On the Payment step, under "How would you like to pay?", click add a discount code and type in your code.
Check the discount has come off before you pay. Codes don't work on the products listed as excluded, with a gift card, on exchanges or extensions, or on delivery and packaging, and only one code can be used per order.
If you're signed in as a MemoryMakers+ member, your member savings are applied at checkout automatically and you can't add a code as well.

Virgin Experience Days shows its current discount code in a banner under the main picture on its homepage, and the codes we've checked are listed at the top of this page. Enter it as a discount code at the payment step of the checkout; it won't work on excluded products or with a gift card.

Why isn't my Virgin Experience Days discount code working?

Most often the experience is on Virgin Experience Days' excluded products list, which held 918 products on 27 Oct 2026, or the order is being paid with a gift card. Codes also can't be added on top of MemoryMakers+ savings, and a code the site calls invalid may have expired or already been used.
