How the calculator works: an example

Example: you're buying medium brown tape in hair extensions at Cliphair for £143.00, and you have a 10% off code. If a 40% sale is on and the code also works on sale items, the sale takes off £57.20 and the code a further £8.58, so the basket drops to £77.22: a saving of £65.78. That is still over the £30.00 free delivery threshold, so the £4.99 delivery charge doesn't apply. Press “Fill in the example” to see it worked out, or put in your own basket, sale and code. Whether a code works on sale items depends on its terms.

How to use a Cliphair discount code

  1. Add your extensions to your bag on cliphair.co.uk. A sitewide offer already shows in the prices, so it needs no code.
  2. In your bag or at checkout, type the code into the "Discount code or gift card" box and press Apply.
  3. Check the new total before you pay. If a discount is already on the order, the site says "You can't add another discount", so keep the better of the two.
  4. If a code is refused, the box says why: not valid for those items, not available for your shipping address, or already used.
