Mail order purchases can be returned within 90 days of receipt for a full exchange or refund, provided items are unused and in their original condition. Refunds are issued using the same payment method as the original purchase. The usual practice is to deduct the £10 collection fee from your refund once the goods are received. This charge applies where the return is not due to an error or fault by the company.
For bike collections due to a customer changing their mind Cycles UK charges £60 within the UK. The courier will bring a return label; you’re responsible for ensuring the bike is packaged correctly for transit. If the bike was sent incorrectly or is faulty, Cycles UK will collect FREE of charge. Returned bikes must be unused and the company may apply a cleaning charge if the bike has been ridden.
Cycles UK’s Price Promise lets customers request a price match within seven days of purchase. If an item is found cheaper and the request meets the stated conditions, Cycles UK will check the claim and, if approved, issue a voucher or store credit for the difference. Conditions include identical manufacturer item numbers, postage included, and availability in the competitor’s stock. The company says it approves over 90% of price match requests but can decline those that don’t meet the criteria.
Conditions for price matches include the competitor having the requested size and colour in stock and the price including postage. The item must be new, identical by manufacturer item number, and available on the competitor’s website; auction listings and certain under-cost listings are excluded. Sales and other discounts may not be used with the Price Promise and approved matches carry an expiry date. The policy can change and Cycles UK reserves the right to decline requests.
Cycles UK offers a Comfort Guarantee: you can return contact points like shoes, saddles, grips, tape and gloves within 30 days for a FREE exchange. This covers exchanges only (not refunds) and items must have been bought from a Cycles UK store or the website within the last 30 days with proof of purchase. The Comfort Guarantee doesn’t cover parts fitted by manufacturers to bikes; faulty items follow the standard returns process. If you exchange for a higher-value item you may need to pay the difference.
Cycles UK offers either 14 or 30 days of FREE insurance on new bikes through partner insurers, depending on the offer shown on the site. The FREE cover typically includes theft and accidental damage up to the full retail value of the cycle and may include replacement cycle hire and accessory cover up to stated limits. After the FREE period ends the policy continues only if you choose to keep it and you’ll be billed by the insurer unless you cancel. Review the insurance terms and activate the FREE cover through the insurer’s activation process.
