Tooled Up offers Click & Collect from its Enfield store at 78 Suez Road, Brimsdown. You’ll need a valid debit or credit card at checkout to verify identity, but payment isn’t taken online for Click & Collect orders - you can pay in-store by card or cash when you pick up. The store will hold orders for seven days and will email you when your order is ready. Collection times follow the shop opening hours, and don’t forget to bring your order confirmation when you collect.
Tooled Up says courier deliveries for in-stock items are normally made within one working day from dispatch, while mail deliveries usually take one to three working days from dispatch. Product pages and the basket show a guide to availability, and an estimated dispatch or collection date appears at checkout where relevant. Some UK locations are excluded from next‑day delivery because of carrier restrictions, so check the delivery option shown at checkout. Delivery method and the delivery window are confirmed by email and, for couriers, by SMS or email on the day of delivery.
Tooled Up delivers across the UK, but rates can vary - the Channel Islands, Highlands & Islands and the Isle of Man attract surcharges due to higher courier charges. The checkout will show delivery costs once you enter a postcode, and exceptional or bulk orders may incur a separate delivery charge or surcharge which will be communicated before dispatch. Check the basket or checkout to see the exact delivery charge for your address; any unusual charges will be notified prior to dispatch so you can decide whether to proceed.
Tooled Up uses recognised carriers such as DHL, DPD and Royal Mail to fulfil orders in the UK. The carrier chosen depends on the item’s size and weight and the delivery service you pick at checkout. For courier deliveries, Tooled Up will provide a delivery window and, where supported, a one‑hour slot on the day. The dispatch method is confirmed by email so you’ll know which carrier is handling your order.
You can cancel an order provided it hasn’t already been dispatched - contact Tooled Up promptly via their contact form or customer service to request cancellation. Bear in mind the online order status can be up to 24 hours out of date, so don’t rely solely on that. If the order has already been dispatched you’ll need to follow the returns procedure for unwanted items once you’ve received the goods. Include your order reference and a reason in your cancellation request so the team can respond quickly.
Tooled Up accepts returns of unwanted items only if they’re in ‘as new’ condition - unused and in their original, undamaged packaging with all components and any promotional items included. You must notify Tooled Up in writing within 14 working days of receipt and return the goods within 30 days. Returns from business or company buyers are excluded. Items returned not in saleable condition may incur costs to make them re‑saleable or may be refused. Use the printable returns form and include a copy of the invoice to avoid delays.
For faulty items, complete the returns form and call or email customer services to obtain authorisation before returning anything, as Tooled Up may first direct you to the manufacturer’s support. If a fault is reported within 30 days of receipt, Tooled Up aims to resolve it quickly and may offer repair, replacement or refund depending on circumstances and manufacturer support. If a refund is authorised for a defective product, Tooled Up will process it within 30 days of confirming entitlement. Don’t return goods without prior authorisation - that can delay things.
If an item arrives damaged in transit you must contact Tooled Up immediately to report the issue and follow their return instructions. Damaged goods should be returned with the printable returns form and in the original packaging where possible, with adequate protection to avoid further damage. All damage claims must be reported within three working days of delivery, otherwise the claim cannot be processed. You remain responsible for goods until Tooled Up receives them, so use an insured method and keep proof of posting.
If you cancel within the fourteen‑day cooling‑off period Tooled Up will refund the full price of the products and the standard delivery costs, in line with their refunds policy. If you chose a higher‑cost delivery option, the refund is limited to the cost of the least expensive delivery method offered by Tooled Up. Refunds for cancellations are processed as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 days of Tooled Up receiving the returned products. You’re responsible for the cost of returning unwanted items unless stated otherwise.
Tooled Up will usually process a refund for a defective product as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of confirming by email that you’re entitled to a refund. For defects notified and authorised within the stated timeframes Tooled Up aims to examine the returned product promptly and communicate the outcome. When a refund is due for a defective item, the company will refund the product price and the delivery charges for sending the item to you. Remember to contact customer services for authorisation before returning any faulty goods to ensure a speedy process.
Tooled Up will usually issue refunds using the same payment method you originally used. Refunds are processed as soon as possible after receipt and assessment of the returned product, subject to the timelines for cancellations and defective goods. Any authorised deductions under the returns policy (for example handling or restoration to saleable condition) will be applied before the refund is issued. Expect refunded monies to arrive via the original card or payment account used at purchase.
Products returned because they’re defective or not as described will be refunded in full, including the original delivery charges. Tooled Up will also refund a reasonable cost for returning the item, subject to the company’s stated limit for return costs. You must obtain authorisation before returning goods so the return can be managed and the refund processed. Refunds for defective goods are handled in line with any applicable manufacturer warranty.
The terms state that the cost you incur for returning a defective product is limited to £7.50 when a refund is made. Obtain authorisation before returning the item and keep proof of postage to support any claim for reimbursement. This limit applies to return costs refunded under the terms for defective products. Contact customer services to confirm return instructions and any reimbursement amounts before posting items back.
Tooled Up says most products carry a manufacturer’s guarantee covering faulty materials and workmanship, but this doesn’t cover general wear and tear, damage, consumables or wearable items. Some products have commercial or special warranty terms shown on the individual product pages, and extended warranties beyond one year are provided by the manufacturer and may require registration. Repair work later deemed not to be covered by warranty may incur a surcharge. Any specific manufacturer helplines are listed where available. Warranty provisions don’t affect your statutory rights.
Extended warranties (those lasting more than one year) are provided by manufacturers and usually require registration with the manufacturer to be valid. These warranties are intended for standard domestic usage - check with the manufacturer if you need cover for industrial or commercial use. If registration is needed the product page or warranty information will explain the steps. Claims under extended warranties are dealt with by the manufacturer according to their terms.
Tooled Up may carry out identity checks in certain situations to verify the person ordering and to help prevent fraud or abuse of the site. These checks may involve third parties and could leave an identity check footprint on your credit reference file, although the company says this will not affect your credit rating. The information is used to fulfil orders, process payments and keep the service secure. Tooled Up reserves this right in their terms and conditions to protect customers and the business.
Tooled Up accepts Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Visa Electron and Maestro and requires payment in advance for products and any delivery charges. For Click & Collect orders a card is required to verify identity at checkout though payment is taken in-store at collection. Ownership of products passes only when full payment, including delivery charges, has been received. Make sure the details you enter at checkout match the payment card to avoid delays.
Tooled Up’s trade counter and shop are at 78 Suez Road, Brimsdown, Enfield, Middlesex, EN3 7PS, where you can also buy in person. Regular opening hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am–5:30pm and Saturday 8:00am–12:00pm, with the shop closed on Sundays and bank/public holidays; phone lines are open slightly longer on weekdays. The shop can be used for dropping off returns or collecting Click & Collect orders where available. If you need a stock check or product availability, give the store a quick call before you visit.
If Tooled Up can’t supply a product because it’s out of stock or unavailable they will email you and refund any payment already taken in full, including delivery costs where applicable. The company won’t process the order and will notify you of the cancellation and refund promptly. Prices and availability can change and occasional pricing errors may occur, in which case Tooled Up may contact you before dispatch. Check dispatch confirmations and contact customer services if an expected delivery doesn’t arrive.
Tooled Up will keep a Click & Collect order in the Enfield store for seven days from the date they notify you that the order is ready. If you can’t collect within that period contact Tooled Up to arrange an extension. Payment for Click & Collect orders is taken in-store at collection, and you must bring the order confirmation. If the order isn’t collected and no extension is arranged, Tooled Up’s standard procedures for uncollected goods will apply.
