How the calculator works: an example

Example: you're buying some bags of Viennese Truffles at Thorntons for £32.00, and you have a 10% off code. If a 40% sale is on and the code also works on sale items, the sale takes off £12.80 and the code a further £1.92, so the basket drops to £17.28: a saving of £14.72. Add the £4.50 delivery charge for the full price. Press “Fill in the example” to see it worked out, or put in your own basket, sale and code. Whether a code works on sale items depends on its terms.

How to use a Thorntons promo code

Add full-price items to your basket on thorntons.com: codes don't work on products already on special offer.
Make sure the order still comes to £15 or more after the discount (delivery doesn't count towards it).
At checkout, enter the code where it asks for a promo code and apply it before you pay. Each code works once per customer.
Free standard delivery needs no code: it applies by itself once your basket reaches £40.
