Victoria had her eye on a set of 10 Michael Harding oil paints costing a total of £116.95 at Cass Art, and had recently received a 10% off voucher code in an email. She had heard rumours of an upcoming 40% clearance sale at Cass Art and wanted to check the savings she could make on the off chance that they would accept the voucher code on an already discounted product. Victoria used our calculator and discovered that by applying both the sale discount AND the voucher together, her basket would drop to just £63.15 - a massive saving of £53.80! Even better, since her final total exceeded the free delivery threshold of £50.00, she didn't have to pay the usual £4.95 delivery charge. The calculator showed her exactly how each discount stacked up and she decided to wait for the sale and see if her dreams would come true! After many good experiences, Victoria has trusted PriceDash for many years as her source of validated codes and often visits us when she needs to order from Cass Art.

Cass Art charges a standard UK delivery fee of £4.95 for most orders. Standard delivery usually takes 3-5 working days from the date of dispatch. The standard fee applies to parcels sent by the listed couriers unless your order hits the free-delivery threshold. Heavy and large items may have different handling, but a standard fee is still shown on the site.
Standard delivery is FREE on UK mainland orders over £50. This free-delivery threshold applies to the standard UK service and is clearly shown alongside delivery options. Certain exclusions may apply to specific product types - these are flagged on product pages. Don’t forget to check the delivery box at checkout to confirm your free-delivery eligibility.
Next‑day delivery costs £7.95 for orders up to £50, with lower charges for larger orders: £4.95 for orders between £50 - £75 and £2.95 for orders over £75 for standard items. Next‑day service runs on working days only and has a 2pm cut-off for that service. Large and heavy items have a separate flat next‑day fee of £7.95 with no thresholds. Availability and item eligibility for next‑day delivery are shown on product pages.
Northern Ireland deliveries are charged at £6.95 with FREE delivery over £50. Republic of Ireland delivery is typically around £6.95 (approx. €9) with FREE delivery over €95, and shipping is quoted in GBP at checkout. Orders to these destinations may have a maximum order value and customs handling differences noted by the retailer. Certain hazardous items and aerosols are excluded from international shipping and are restricted to UK mainland road delivery only.
Deliveries to Highlands and Islands are charged at £8.95 for orders up to £50 and £4.95 for orders over £50. Guernsey and Jersey follow the same structure - £8.95 up to £50 / £4.95 over £50 - and are exempt from VAT, with invoices attached for customs. These areas are shipped via specialist Highlands & Islands services and may not be eligible for standard or next‑day options. Product exclusions for flammable or restricted items are noted on the site for these postcodes.
Click & Collect is available and is FREE for orders over £30; orders under £30 cannot use the service. Click & Collect orders are picked and sent to your chosen shop and are usually ready within two working days. Larger items such as studio easels aren’t available for Click & Collect. The product page will state whether an item is eligible for Click & Collect.
A Click & Collect order will stay at the chosen shop for 14 days before it’s returned to the warehouse. In some cases a store can hold an order longer if you ask - contact Customer Services to arrange this. You’ll get an email when the order is ready to collect; bring ID and your order confirmation. If you don’t collect within the stated period the item may be returned and the order cancelled.
Cass Art offers a 10% student discount online and in-store for eligible students on a recognised course of at least one year. Certain brands and categories are excluded, notably Daniel Smith, Michael Harding and the easel category. To activate the online discount, register through UNiDAYS or via Customer Care; a valid photographic student ID is needed for in‑store use. The online student discount is removed at the end of the graduation year or three years after registration where applicable.
Blue Light Card holders can get 15% off qualifying orders over £75, with easels and clearance items excluded. A valid Blue Light Card must be presented online or in-store to redeem the discount, and the offer can’t be combined with other promotions. The promotion is subject to the Blue Light Card scheme terms and Cass Art’s exclusions. Full eligibility and redemption instructions are explained in the promotions section on the site.
Cass Art operates a Best Price Guarantee and will match a lower price found at an authorised VAT-registered UK retailer, either in-store or online. The guarantee applies when the identical product (including colour and size) is in stock and available for immediate delivery, and the retailer is an authorised seller; delivery charges will be considered as part of the total price where applicable. Price-match claims must be made at the time of purchase or within seven days after buying for a possible refund of the difference. The policy excludes purchases made using discount codes and clearance items and requires contact with Customer Care to validate the claim.
To return an online order, notify Cass Art by email within 14 days of delivery and then return the items within a further 14 days at your own expense. Returned items must be unopened, unused and in a resalable condition, and Cass Art strongly recommends using a tracked service with proof of postage. Refunds for accepted returns are processed once the return has been inspected and confirmed to meet the returns criteria. Include the completed returns form or clearly mark the order number on the outside of the parcel to help processing.
Items bought in a Cass Art shop can be returned to any store within 28 days of purchase with proof of purchase such as a till receipt or e-receipt. In-store returns must be unused, unopened and in their original packaging to be eligible for a refund. Faulty in-store items can be returned to any shop with proof of purchase for assistance. Specially ordered items, clearance lines and certain product categories are excluded from the standard in-store returns policy unless faulty.
Damaged goods must be reported to Cass Art within three days of receipt to be considered under the damaged-goods procedure. Faulty items - those not fit for purpose or not as described - must be notified within seven working days of receipt. Items damaged through wear and tear, misuse or accidental damage aren’t considered faulty under the policy. The site advises emailing Customer Care with order details and clear images for assessment.
Once a returned item has been received and confirmed to meet the returns criteria, Cass Art will process the refund within 14 days. Refunds are credited to the original payment method used for the purchase. If the original purchase was made with a gift certificate, refunds are processed as store credit on your online account. Any delivery cost paid originally will be refunded only at the standard delivery amount, and premium delivery charges are not refunded.
Cass Art cannot accept returns of aerosol products due to their hazardous and flammable nature - these items are excluded from the returns policy. Other exclusions include specially ordered items, clearance lines, portfolios, easels, pens and certain adhesive products unless they’re faulty. If an item is faulty it may be eligible for return or repair even if normally excluded, subject to the fault notification timeframe. If you’re unsure about a particular product, contact Customer Care for clarification before you buy.
Cass Art recommends contacting Customer Services as soon as possible to cancel or amend an order, but an order can only be cancelled until it reaches a certain point in the packing process. If the order has already been dispatched, accept it on delivery and then return it in line with the returns procedure if unwanted. The site notes that the warehouse picks and packs orders promptly, so early contact gives the best chance of cancellation. Use the provided telephone or email contacts to request cancellations or amendments.
